This little campsite by Lake Maggiore will delight with its ideal location.
Life on the campsite is lived in the ideal family atmosphere for nature and water loving people of all ages.
There are many possibilities for excursions. All water sports are available: introducing to diving, water-skiing, canoeing, swimming, sailing, wake board. The Mediterranean climate also allows you to spend a lot of time in nature and enjoy the sunny days.
In the typically village of Vira Gambarogno, which is only a few minutes' walk away, you will find a bakery, butcher's shop, pharmacy, a doctor, post office, bank, restaurants, bar, Ice Cream, a garage and petrol station with a tourist office.
A few minutes away is also our Hotel Bellavista, where you can reserve your breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. And for tennis lovers, a nice 'challenge' can be organised on synthetic tennis courts in the Tennis Bar/Ice Cream Shop.
The town of Locarno is about 20 minutes by car away.
The Bellavista campsite has:
Hair dryer, disposal point for chemical toilet, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, automatic coffee machine and free-WI-FI. It is possible to hire kayaks, stand-up paddle and pedalo.
You can reserve a boat with driver by the hour, half-day or full-day, where you can also wake surf and wakeboard.
Tourist proposals:
Locarno with Filmfestival (August) 20 minutes away by car, Ascona, the pearl of Ticino only 25 minutes away, Bellinzona with its Unesco castles and a splendid market (Saturday) only 30 minutes away, Brissago and its islands. In addition, it is possible to make nice walks in Indemini or excursiones around Monte Gambarogno or more, visit the renovated Gambarogno Hut (2022/2023) and the Botanical Park in Piazzogna, Bolle di Magadino (protected natural zone), cruises on Lake Maggiore, various water sports possibilities, a trip to Luino (Italy) 45 minutes away and much more. The destinations are easily accessible by public transport (boat bus and occasionally also train).
